GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper, or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.

STEP 1. Arrange the 3 auxiliary figures as in the example.

STEP 2. Mark out the shape of the head and tail. Erase the excess.

STEP 3. Add auxiliary lines for the arms and legs.

STEP 4. Improve the shape of head. Draw part of the arms. Finish the basic shape of the tail. Erase the excess.

STEP 5. Finish the shape of the head and add the mouth. Complete the arms and shape the legs.

STEP 6. Add a tip and spikes to the tail. Mark fingers on the arms and legs. Sketch drool in the open mouth. Add elements to the body.

STEP 7. Finish the spikes on the tail of the toes. Detail the body and head.

STEP 8. Draw teeth. Detail the whole body with lines.

STEP 9. Check that there are no extra lines in the drawing. Contour Xenomorph, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line.

STEP 10. Colour in the picture and bring it to life. Enjoy your drawing.
